A native New Yorker who began his career as a radio and TV personality,
Barry Kaye joined New England Life as an insurance agent in 1962,
and proceeded to break all life insurance industry sales records
in his first year.
In 1966, he received his CLU degree from The American College
in Bryn Mawr, PA. Soon after, Kaye was named a lifetime member
of the Million-Dollar Round Table Club, and became one of the
founders of the prestigious International Forum.
He established Barry Kaye Associates, a national firm headquartered
in Los Angeles, in 1968. His innovative uses of life insurance
earned him a reputation for creativity in the insurance field,
and his outstanding integrity and financial acumen resulted in
astonishing success in his field. He has led 14 life insurance
companies during his career. He was the catalyst for last-to-die
life insurance in 1963 and in 2002 originated the concept of life
expectancy insurance policies.
Kaye is the prolific author of several books and videos on the
subject of life insurance and estate planning. His first book,
How to Save a Fortune on Your Life Insurance, an immediate best
seller, was instrumental in accelerating a lower pricing structure
for life insurance. His next book and videotape, Save a Fortune
on Your Estate Taxes (Forman Publishing, Inc.), was also a top-seller.
His third book, Die Rich and Tax Free! (Forman Publishing, Inc.)
presented his ideas in an easy to follow chart format. In Live
Rich (Dove Books), Kaye shares the techniques and philosophies
he has employed throughout his lifetime to achieve financial success
and a deeply rewarding lifestyle for himself and his family. The
Investment Alternative (Forman Publishing, Inc.) was the first
book to show that life insurance was not an expense but rather
an asset. His most recent book Die Rich 2 (FHA Press) is the most
complete to date, relative to his unique concepts. He has appeared
twice on NBC 's Today show.
Kaye, who is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the
